“BREAKFAST AT BAREFOOT”
You will be paddling in the comfort of our new fleet of Sea Eagle 360 kayaks. These kayaks feature high back comfortable seats, are virtually untippable, family friendly, and will hold up to a family of 4 or 650 lbs!!!!! Your paddling adventure begins at the Barefoot Beach Hut, as you head out to the Gulf of Mexico. During your kayak adventure your guide will entertain & educate you with knowledge about the local marine life (dolphins, manatees, sharks, sting rays, fish, etc.), facts about the birds of Barefoot, importance of the mangrove eco-system, history of the local Calusa Indians, and even hear about the local legend of the infamous “Skunk Ape”. You will also have the opportunity to observe dozens of species of birds in their natural habitat & feeding grounds as we explore the Barefoot Beach Backwater Bay Mangrove Nature Trail. Mid-trip we will stop at the secluded Barefoot Beach at Wiggins Pass, where a tantalizing continental breakfast awaits your dining pleasure, all while you enjoy the amazing wildlife viewing!!!!
